TsumiCon is an 18+ anime convention based in Las Vegas, Nevada. It's just 3 years old which makes is a baby in convention years. Saying 18+ is somewhat nebulous, so let me add in some other words to give you a clearer understanding. Think of cabaret, pole dancing, and panels with titles like "How to Start an Only Fans". It's meant for adults. People will walk around in revealing outfits, sometimes with just pasties on top.

The convention is held at the Alexis Park Resort and Convention Center. It's a cute property located just a mile from the Harry Reid International Airport. While it's more Motel 6 than Ritz Carlton, it has a pleasant and relaxed vibe. Rooms are in groups of separate buildings with winding pathways in-between. It's like an oasis of green grass and palm trees in the middle of a literal desert. The Motel 6 vibe come with Motel 6 prices. The convention room rates are the lowest of any event I've ever attended. Weekday rates are just $50! The common Las Vegas resort fee adds to that, but it's still one of the most affordable hotel rates.
The convention center is relatively small and has an odd layout. Hallways are lined with guest tables which makes them feel cramped. Access to the vendor hall and artist alley is through the doors near the pool, but access to the main events room is from the front driveway. Very odd indeed. Still, both the vendor hall and artist alley have a nice selection of anime merch with an adult twist.Adult toys and uncensored hentai posters are on full display. If you've attended an average anime convention you might be aware that such things are usually covered up. Not at Tsumicon! They are out in the open and placed up high for all to see.
